Hole In The Wall, formed in 1971 in Bergen, Norway, was a Norwegian country rock band founded by Erik Moll and Rune Walle. Historically, they stand among the early trailblazers of Norway’s Roots revival movement.

The band’s name was inspired by a legendary gang of American outlaws from the Wild West, who took their name from a secluded mountain pass—Hole-in-the-Wall—in Johnson County, Wyoming, which served as their hideout.

Their sound blended elements of American country, traditional folk, psychedelia, and rock ’n’ roll, creating a distinct musical fusion.

Color Humano was a prominent Argentine rock trio that emerged in the early 1970s following the breakup of Almendra, which gave rise to three new bands—Color Humano being one of them.

In 1972, they released their self-titled debut album, in line with the common Argentine rock tradition of naming a band's first record after the group itself.

While the album doesn't contain a standout hit, it stands out as a cohesive and engaging listen from start to finish, blending acoustic rock with tracks that lean toward a harder edge.

The Old Man & The Sea was a progressive rock band from Horsens, Denmark, formed in 1967 by Benny Stanley (guitar), Knud Lindhard (bass), and Tommy Hanseen (organ/keyboards). With Lars "Beske" Thygesen (drums) and Robert Hauschild (vocals), the original lineup toured Denmark and Norway before splitting in 1969.

They reformed in 1971 with John Lundvig on drums and Ole Wedel on vocals. Relocating to Brund, the band was signed to Sonet Records through engineer Freddy Hansson of Rosenberg Studios, where they recorded their self-titled debut album in 1972.

The Beau Brummels were an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1964. The original members were Sal Valentino (lead vocals), Ron Elliott (lead guitar), Ron Meagher (bass), Declan Mulligan (rhythm guitar, bass, harmonica), and John Petersen (drums). The group was discovered by local radio DJs seeking talent for their new venture, Autumn Records, where a young Sylvester Stewart—later known as Sly Stone—produced the band’s early sessions. Early on, their sound fused elements of beat and folk music, often drawing comparisons to the Beatles. As their style evolved, they explored psychedelic and country rock influences.
