The Amboy Dukes

The Amboy Dukes was an American rock band formed in 1964 in Detroit, Michigan, best known for their one hit single Journey to the Center of the Mind. The band's name comes from the title of a novel by Irving Shulman. In the UK the group's records were released under the name of The American Amboy Dukes because of the existence of a British group with the same name.

The band went through a number of personnel changes during its active years, the only constant being lead guitarist and composer Ted Nugent. The band transitioned to being Nugent's backing band before he discontinued the name in 1975. The group contributed to the foundations of heavy metal and progressive rock. The group's primary genres were psychedelic rock and hard rock. (Wikipedia)

Gomorrha was a German progressive rock band formed at the end of the sixties.
The band original line up includes Helmut Pohl (drums) and Eberhard Krietsch (ogan, bass) with Ad Oschel and Ali Claudi at the guitars. They released their first album in 1970. The second recording Trauma (1971) really marks a new step in the development of Gomorrha's original song. They distinguish with a dense heavy psych rock experience punctuated by organ dominated sequences. In 1972 they release what will be considered as their summit, I Turned To See Whose Voice It Was; an adventurous album featuring catchy instrumental jams, krautrock's original psych / spacey mood, pastoral flute parts and heavy guitar riffs.

Blue Cheer

Blue Cheer was an American rock band that initially performed and recorded in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Based in San Francisco, Blue Cheer played in a psychedelic blues-rock style.

Blue Cheer was the name of a variety of LSD made by chemist and Grateful Dead patron Owsley Stanley and the band was probably named for that, although the name existed earlier, as the name of a laundry detergent for which the LSD variety itself was named.
