A mega-talent, and a guy who'll always have a spot in my CD rack--if for no other reason than he tapped Carly Simon at her sexiest, despite some world class competition (Warren Beatty, Mick Jagger, and me).
I feel sorry for Carly Simon for missing out on you, my dear friend.
Hello, Hajul! THANK YOU so much for this WONDERFUL JT collection. This was the first time I found your excellent blog, and it is a great gift to find this cycle of songs. You did James justice (as you do with the other posts). You captured all his moods. Your presentation is BEAUTIFUL - I can't say enough about the sound quality and the seamless segues between all the tracks. Myself, I have tried these compilations, and I never can achieve the volume normalizing that you do. BEAUTIFUL music and great choices from the catalogue of this great artist! This world is made better, and more peaceful just listening to James Taylor's songwriting and VOICE. And Hajul; - you have presented a real labour of love here, which I surely will listen to and treasure for years to come! All the best, tanktop
Your impressive generosity in words is highly appreciated.
Great set of tracks my friend and great blog.. I would love to see your take on Renee Geyer someday.Cheers
