John McLaughlin
John McLaughlin is an English guitarist, bandleader, and composer. A pioneer of jazz fusion, his music combines elements of jazz with rock, world music, Indian classical music, Western classical music, flamenco, and blues.
The first time I heard John McLaughlin, it was the extract from "Devotion", the fantastic "Marbles", on Michel Lancelot's Campus radio show in France, and "In the Silent Way" just afterwards... Thanks for this Best Of!
