Harold Eugene "Gene" Clark (November 17, 1944 – May 24, 1991) was an American singer-songwriter and founding member of the folk rock band The Byrds. Clark was The Byrds' dominant songwriter between 1964 and early 1966, penning most of the band's best-known originals from this period, including I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better, She Don't Care About Time, and Set You Free This Time.

Gila

Gila was formed in early 1969 and, with their new/experimental sound, they secured a considerable German fan base.  Gila's original lineup was Daniel Alluno (drums, bongos, tabla, percussion), Fritz Scheyhing 

(organ, mellotron, percussion, keyboards), Conny Veit (guitars, vocals, tabla, additional keyboards) and Walter Wiederkehr (bass). In 1971, they recorded their début album Gila - Free Electric Sound and disbanded in 1972.  In 1973, Veit reformed the band with a new lineup, and the same year recorded their second studio album, the krautrock/psych folk Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee.  In 1974, they disbanded again.  In 1999, a live album was released, Night Works, which was recorded in 1972 and was originally intended for radio broadcast.

Savoy Brown

Savoy Brown, originally known as the Savoy Brown Blues Band, are an English blues rock band formed in Battersea, south west London in 1965. Part of the late 1960s blues rock movement, the band was formed by guitarist Kim Simmonds and harmonica player John O'Leary, following a chance meeting at Transat Imports record shop in Lisle Street, Soho, in 1965.
