ReplyDeleteThe missus and I attended a country fete last weekend in South Wanborough, it was very wet so I told her to keep fetching the teas from up the hill while I stayed warm in the van. She was a sight to see on the muddy hill coming down with goodies for me, and her still on the crutches.
Later on it cleared enough for me to get out, just in time for the birds of prey demo.
This particular chap used an electronic rabbit which his wife controlled sitting in their vehicle. His buildup to the rabbit's release was such that, when it finally shot out for the hawk to chase, my poor wife pitched backwards over the fence with shock, forcing me to stride away for fear someone might think I was with her.
So I'm thinkin' you may have just done your good deed for the day, calling me generous. ;-))
