German rock band founded in 1969 in Wilhelmshaven; the group relocated to Hamburg in 1970. Led by Gert “Kralle” Krawinkel—who later became a member of Trio—the band fused country and folk influences with an Anglo-American style of rock, in a manner similar to contemporary Nordic acts such as Culpeper’s Orchard.
