  2. i saw americas first two proper gigs in 1970 or 71 .just saying

    1. "Just saying" but you didn't say anything about your impressions of the two gigs. I believe that in '70 and '71 the guys were still teenagers. So what do are your thoughts about their stage presence?

    2. well now youve asked ! my first gigs were at londons roundhouse where you went sunday 3-11 and for 40p you saw about 6 bands . the dj was jeff dexter and he found these teenagers and put them on stage inbetween the booked acts , i think it was stone the crows headlining . they came back the next week as they had gone down well . they were very csny and gently strummed . they were good but not as good as the who december 1970 roundhouse release benefit 40p . after that i vowed never to do my homework again !
